What is Biomechanics?
Biomechanics is the study of the movement of the bones and muscles and how they affect our walking, running and standing posture.
Biomechanical assessments are conducted for conditions such as:

What is Video Gait Analysis?
Video Gait Analysis involves standing and walking on a state of the art pressurised sensor platform, whilst being closely observed by a podiatrist. The imagery captured is by a video camera and played back to enable any problematic gait issues to be identified.
Computerised Gait Analysis is conducted in conjunction with the video gait analysis as part of your biomechanical assessment. Computerised gait analysis involves walking and standing on a computerised sense pad. This sense pad records over a million points of data that translates into a digital image. From these images, your foot function can be assessed and pressure areas identified.
On completion of your biomechanical assessments, Griffith Foot Clinic will be able to provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan.
